Museums
Edremit Museum
Remains from Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman Periods were found during the excavations in Edremit and they are now on display in the Museum. Three thousand years old Bronze vase, Mosaic Stone found at the Temple of Diana, inscribed stones and ethnographic works are worth seeing.
Ancıent Cities
Antandros (Edremit-Altinoluk) Ancient City:
The city was founded at the foothills of Mt. Ida in Mysia. It was built by Pelajgoi. After 6th BC century, the city experienced the rule of Persians, Hellens and Romans. In Byzantine period, it was an patriarchy center. There is a castle, graveyard and the embossment of Artemis.
Mosques
Kursunlu Mosque
It was built by the Seljuk commander, Yusuf Sinan who conquered Edremit, in 1231. Next the to mosque, there is a tomb of Yusuf Sinan.
Thermal Springs
Güre Thermal Spring: It still reflects the features of the first age Roman public baths. Its water is said to be curative for rheumatism, gynaecological disorders, calcification, goitre, kidney stone, liver diseases and skin disorders such as psorias
Derman Thermal Spring:Located in 3,5 km from Edremit, the spring has a room capacity of 21 with bathtubs. The spring water is said to be efficacious against gynaecological disorders and rheumatism. Drinking the spring water is also said to be curative for kidney stones.
Facilities: In specially designated areas, is it possible to stay in tents or caravans.
