|
Galatasaray hamamı was built by Sultan Beyazıt Han II in 1481, then was updated continuously by having repaired and modified during the eras of Sultan Selim II, Sultan Mehmet IV, the Hunter, Sultan Ahmet III and Sultan Mahmut I. The exterior of the bath has also been kept historically accurate. Galatasaray Hamamı is one of the best examples of the famous Turkish Baths. This bath has been maintained perfectly in its original form with both men's and ladies’ hammams. Both the sections for ladies and men are available every day. For group organizations, the men's section is opened to men and women. Group meetings include a show with Turkish oriental dances and oriental orchestra. You may also enjoy a wonderful dinner which showcases Turkish Cuisine. Groups should be minimum 20 people. |
